About Jaime
Since I was a young girl I've loved the art of storytelling. Nothing gave me as great a joy as coming home from school, telling my mother and father stories from my school, and seeing the look on their faces as they relived my day. Stories have the power to bring together people and communities, and that is the aspect with which I have built my love of broadcasting around. If I can make someone's day by either telling them a story, then my job, and life, will be fulfilled.
I am a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, receiving a BA in communication with a certificate in television and broadcast arts and graduating Summa Cum Laude.

Hailing from Lancaster, PA, I was previously the anchor, news director, political reporter, city beat reporter, and producer for Pitt to the Point, Pitt's first hour-long news broadcast. Currently I am the lead host of KDKA's Next Take, commercial radio's first show hosted by college students. I also held the positions of DJ and sports analyst at WPTS Radio and social media intern at the university's Department of Communication. I have also held the position of as the head videographer and correspondent with The Pitt News, interned with the University of Pittsburgh's Marketing and Communication Division of Student Affairs and the multimedia division of the University of Pittsburgh's Athletic Department.

I am a passionate, tenacious, and detail-oriented reporter with work featured on national news outlets such as NBC, CNN, and HLN. In my free time, I love singing, spending time with my family and friends, and watching movies and baseball.

I am profoundly fortunate to have had the opportunity to cover some extremely important stories that impact the community.
